Helping museums in the East Midlands to serve the public better
News
MidFed Council CPD Opportunities
Two fantastic CPD opportunities have arisen on the Mid Fed Council and we would like your nominations to help us fill the following roles:
Honorary Secretary
This a real chance for anybody wishing to develop their organisational and political skills to manage the day-to-day affairs of a small charity. The role is a varied one and provides an excellent opportunity for CV-building, particularly as part of the AMA or similar CPD-based qualifications.
Joint Meetings Secretaries (East Midlands)
The role would involve organising one of the two East Midlands seminars per year, working alongside the other regional Meetings Secretary, and with guidance on potential speakers and venues from the Council. No experience is necessary, just enthusiasm.
Benefits of being a Council Member
• Improve your future employment prospects
• Network with colleagues
• Practise and Develop your management and organisational skills
If you'd like to apply for one of the roles, please download and complete this nominations form Mid Fed Council CPD Opportunities 2012
We can help you find proposers and seconders (who must be current Mid Fed members).
For an informal discussion about either of the roles, or the election process, please contact Catriona Smellie, Honorary Secretary.
