Strategic Touring programme briefing
1pm to 4.30pm, 1 February 2012
Nottingham Contemporary, Weekday Cross, Nottingham, NG1 2GB

The Arts Council’s Strategic touring programme was launched earlier this month. The first deadline for this programme is 3  March and there are a further five deadlines throughout 2012.

Organisations and individuals with a recent track record of delivering touring work with a clear sense of how their work delivers towards the scheme are welcome to apply, following a conversation with a Relationship Manager in the East Midlands office.

Arts Council England, East Midlands is hosting a briefing event to:

·         outline the programme and its aims

·         provide a networking opportunity with potential partners

·         host a discussion forum for ideas regarding work with organisations nationally

The event is open to people working in a wide range of roles both within and outside Arts Council England’s National portfolio organisations including:

·         artists

·         producers

·         promoters

·         festivals

·         museums

·         libraries

·         local authorities

Due to limited capacity places are restricted to one per organisation. Please visit: http://emtouringbriefing.eventbrite.com/ to register for the event.
